Event Details
The 8th Annual McKinney Shamrock Run 5K kicks off on March 15 at 9:00 AM at Towne Lake Park. Put on your green and race to the finish line to claim your lucky finisher's medal and a complimentary green beer, courtesy of TUPPS Brewery.
Early bird registration is $30 and includes entry into the chip-timed racecourse, a Shamrock Run 5K t-shirt, a custom Shamrock Run bib, and a finisher's medal. Pricing will increase to $35 on February 3, so don’t wait! A portion of the event proceeds supports The Warrior’s Keep.
The fun doesn’t stop after the race. Family-friendly festivities include local vendors, a Shamrock Photo Booth, Irish music, Irish dancing, and of course, green TUPPS beer.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the top overall male and female finishers: first place receives $100, second place $50, and third place $25. There is also a $25 prize for the first-place stroller strider, as well as awards for the top male and female finishers in age groups ranging from 14 and under to 60 and over.
