Celebrate National Trails Day in McKinney, Texas!
Event Details
Register today for the Trinity Falls Trail Day 5k! The scenic, paved race route will guide you around the beautiful master-planned community of Trinity Falls and along the 350-acre natural park with miles of winding, wooded river frontage where families explore and become one with nature.
National Trails Day is a nationwide event to encourage people to discover their local trails and celebrate spending time outdoors. What better way to celebrate than enjoying the beautiful trails in Trinity Falls?
Registration for the Trinity Falls Trail Day 5k is $30 and includes entry into the chip-timed racecourse, an event t-shirt, a Trinity Falls Trail Day 5k bib, a Frios Popsicle, and an awesome finishers medal! The 5k start horn blows at 9:00am! Attendees can arrive as early as 8:00am!
Trinity Falls is donating 100% of gross profits to local McKinney nonprofits! Please help us support our local nonprofit community and register today! Nonprofits the event will support include Children’s Health, Combined Arms, and Direction 61:3.
The event is family-friendly, and strollers are welcome! We even have a prize for the first-place stroller strider!
CASH prizes will be awarded to the Top Overall Males and Females: First Place ($200), Second Place ($100), and Third Place ($50) AND the First Place Stroller Strider ($50). PLUS awards for the top male and female finishers in age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 & 70 and over! The Awards Ceremony will take place at 9:45 am!
Stay for the party at the finish line! There will be a variety of local outdoor, recreation, and fitness vendors, a disc golf demonstration, music, photo ops, and a ladybug release for the kiddos. Honeylu’s Truck will be there, offering a variety of food and beverages for purchase. A post-race cool down lead by Camp Gladiator will happen at 9:30 am! Tour the model homes for a chance to win a $1000 gift certificate to Nebraska Furniture Mart*.
The ladybug release will start at 10:00 am and kick off with Ms. Bug reading the Grouchy Ladybug book! Little ones will have a chance to release the ladybugs and take pictures with Ms. Bug!
Model Homes open at 10:00 am for the Model Home Tour.
