During Operation Kindness Holiday Adoption Days at the Galleria, shoppers can interact with adoptable dogs and cats, learn about volunteer opportunities, adopt a furry friend or shop for unique gifts that benefit Operation Kindness including:
• Happy Tails Society memberships — Give the gift of life all year long by helping to cover the cost of medical care, shelter and food. Recipients will receive a Happy Tails Society decal, holiday card and a monthly e-newsletter featuring a “Happy Tale” of how their membership is making a difference. Starting at $19 a month, this gift is tax-deductible for the purchaser.
• Prepaid adoption gift certificates for a dog or cat with accompanying food bowl and accessories. Each gift certificate costs $200 and is valid for 90 days after the initial purchase to ensure the perfect pet is available. If the perfect pet is not available or the recipient does not wish to adopt an animal the gift certificate can be refunded.
