Back by popular demand, it's our Beneath the Stars Music + Poetry Night, featuring the DeSoto High School Jazz Band.
Event Details
This year, we're doing things a little differently.
Our three AMAZING featured spoken word artists [Adrion Butler / Leslie Polk / Princeton Marcellis] will be competing to win $250 for their favorite charity! But the winner is all up to YOU, the audience.
You'll have a chance to vote for your favorite spoken word artists AT Beneath the Stars. Not only will that artist's charity win $250, but they will also be the opening act for the headliner at DeSoto Arts Live later this year!
Join us at 7:00 pm in the Outdoor Amphitheater at DeSoto Town Center (right behind the Library) for the Poetry followed at 8:00 pm by a special performance of the DeSoto High School Jazz Band. The show will go on even if the weather does not cooperate. If we have rain, we will move the concert indoor to the Corner Theatre located in DeSoto Town Center.
