OSO is hosting an all-day Murph-a-thon on Friday, November 11 for Veteran's Day to honor US active duty military and veterans.
There will be several group-led classes if you prefer to do it with a crew; 5:30am, 6:30am, 12pm!

What is a “Murph” and why should we a-thon it, you ask? The workout honors service members who have died in combat. Named for Lt. Michael P. Murphy, a Navy SEAL who was killed in action in 2005.
The “MURPH” workout consists of doing the following (all done as quickly as you possibly can):
1 mile run
100 pull-ups
200 push-ups
300 unweighted squats
another 1 mile run
The HALF-MURPH is (obviously) half of the original:
1/2 mile run
50 pull-ups
100 push-ups
150 unweighted squats
another 1/2 mile run
The SPRINT MURPH is a quarter of the original:
1/4 mile run
25 pull-ups
50 push-ups
75 unweighted squats
another 1/4 mile run
