It is with great joy and pleasure I extend an invite for you all to join me in a conversation about our mothers. I have recently learned that when I learned who my mother really was, I learned who I really was. It is my belief that we as black women carry generations in our wombs meaning that our love, pain, experiences and trauma are gifted to the women who come after us, from us.
